Article 1 – Definitions
1.1. Entrepreneur: A.L Atelier, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 83983570, operating under the trade name A.L Atelier.
1.2. Customer: any natural person who does not act in the exercise of a profession or business and enters into an agreement with A.L Atelier.
1.3. Products: luxury menswear, both new and second-hand, including accessories and related items.
1.4. Agreement: any purchase agreement between A.L Atelier and the customer, concluded via the webshop or other sales channels.
1.5. Webshop: the online sales environment of A.L Atelier, accessible via www.alatelier.nl
Article 2 – Applicability
2.1. These general terms and conditions apply to every offer made by A.L Atelier and to every agreement concluded between A.L Atelier and the customer.
2.2. By placing an order, the customer declares to agree with these terms and conditions.
2.3. Deviations from these conditions are only valid if agreed upon in writing.
Article 3 – The Offer
3.1. The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products offered.
3.2. The condition of each item is clearly stated as: new with tag, new without tag, or second-hand (good condition or worn condition).
3.3. All products are manually inspected for quality and authenticity prior to shipment.
3.4. Obvious errors or mistakes in prices, descriptions, or images do not bind A.L Atelier.
Article 4 – The Agreement
4.1. The agreement is concluded once the customer places an order via the webshop or another sales channel and A.L Atelier confirms it by email.
4.2. If a product is unexpectedly out of stock, the customer will be informed and the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days.
4.3. A.L Atelier reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of suspected fraud, payment issues, or previous cases of abuse.
Article 5 – Prices and Payments
5.1. All prices are stated in euros and include VAT. Second-hand products fall under the margin scheme and are exempt from VAT specification on the invoice.
5.2. Payment is possible via iDEAL, Klarna, Apple Pay, Mastercard, or other payment methods supported by Shopify.
5.3. Orders will only be shipped after full payment has been received.
5.4. A.L Atelier reserves the right to change prices, but orders already placed will always be delivered at the price valid at the time of purchase.
Article 6 – Delivery and Shipping
6.1. A.L Atelier delivers throughout the European Union.
6.2. Orders within the Netherlands are shipped via PostNL within 24 hours after payment has been received.
6.3. Shipping costs are €6.95 within the Netherlands and vary per country within the EU.
6.4. Orders over €250 are shipped free of charge within the Netherlands.
6.5. The customer will receive a shipping confirmation including track & trace once the package has been shipped.
6.6. A.L Atelier is not liable for delays caused by carriers or customs procedures.
6.7. Any damage or loss during transport will be investigated in cooperation with the carrier.
Article 7 – Returns and Right of Withdrawal
7.1. The customer has the right to register a return within 14 days after receiving the order.
7.2. Return requests must be reported within this period by email to info@alatelier.nl, stating the order number.
7.3. Returns without prior approval will not be processed.
7.4. A.L Atelier only accepts returns of unworn items that are in exactly the same condition as upon delivery.
7.5. Second-hand items can only be returned if they show no signs of wear, odours, or damage, and if the labels or seals are intact.
7.6. Items with removed labels, signs of use, perfume or smoke odours, or visible wear will not be accepted.
7.7. All products are visually inspected and photographed prior to shipment to record their condition at delivery.
7.8. Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense, unless the return is due to an error or damage caused by A.L Atelier.
7.9. After receipt and approval of the return, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days via the original payment method.
7.10. A.L Atelier reserves the right to partially refund a return in the event of visible depreciation.
Article 8 – Warranty and Liability
8.1. All products are carefully inspected for quality, authenticity, and condition before shipment.
8.2. As A.L Atelier trades in second-hand items, no statutory manufacturer’s warranty applies.
8.3. Any defects or issues must be reported by email within 48 hours after receipt, including photos.
8.4. A.L Atelier is not liable for damage resulting from improper use, wear and tear, incorrect washing, or negligence by the customer.
8.5. A.L Atelier is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, or loss of profit.
Article 9 – Complaints Procedure
9.1. Complaints regarding the execution of the agreement must be submitted within a reasonable period, fully and clearly described, by email to info@alatelier.nl.
9.2. The customer will receive a substantive response within seven days after receipt of the complaint.
9.3. If the complaint cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the customer may refer the dispute to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
Article 10 – Force Majeure
10.1. A.L Atelier is not obliged to fulfil any obligation if prevented from doing so due to force majeure, such as carrier disruptions, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond its control.
10.2. In the event of force majeure, A.L Atelier reserves the right to suspend delivery or dissolve the agreement without any obligation to pay compensation.
Article 11 – Personal Data and Privacy
11.1. A.L Atelier handles customers’ personal data with care and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
11.2. Data is used solely for order processing, customer service, and marketing purposes if permission has been granted.

Article 12 – Intellectual Property
12.1. All images, texts, and brand names on the website are the property of A.L Atelier or are used with permission from the rightful owner.
12.2. It is not permitted to copy, reproduce, or publish any materials from A.L Atelier without written permission.
